1710.257 Background and Criminal History Check Requirements Policy and Procedure


The policy is to ensure that the University conducts appropriate background investigation of prospective and current regular full-time, part-time or temporary employees and to ensure all current employees meet the requirements for employment set forth in Chapter 435 of the Florida Statutes. Each Business Unit has responsibility to ensure that position descriptions, job postings, requests for posting waivers, promotions, and reclassified positions accurately reflect the duties necessary to completeall appropriate background checks.
