Florida International University faces the risks and consequences of natural, technological and operational emergencies that may result in loss of life, property damage or interruption of essential functions of the University community. Assuring the continuity of Florida International University is implicit in our mission and requires the cooperation and involvement of the University community, stakeholders and partners. The FIU Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan is based on the requirements of Florida Statutes Chapter 252 and is wholly and fully supported by all members of FIU’s Policy Group.
