520.010 University Building Code Enforcement Regulations for Faculty, Staff and Construction Companies/Vendors Doing Business with the University
In order to maintain appropriate enforcement of the Florida Building Code and the Florida Fire Prevention Code rules and regulations for all University facilities, a central source of authority must be in place. The Department has the statutory authority from the State of Florida to require and to issue construction permits, conduct inspections and issue certificates of occupancy or completion from/to all qualified contractors performing construction services, whether contracted or donated, for all campuses.
