The reason of the Environmental Policy at FIU is to provide guidance and awareness to the FIU community and visitors regarding regulatory environmental compliance. To proactively reduce and eliminate potential impacts to our environment and establish roles and responsibilities regarding compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
